Craig’s role was established through a partnership between the TAS Farm Innovation Hub and the Tasmanian Institute of Agriculture (TIA). He works with government, industry, research bodies, and RDCs to identify emerging biosecurity threats and support agricultural preparedness through targeted research projects.
He is a key liaison with the Tasmanian Government during biosecurity emergencies, supporting TIA’s role in pest and disease outbreak responses. With a long career in both public and private sectors, Craig has led surveillance, compliance, and emergency response programs across Australia, covering animal, plant, and environmental biosecurity.
