UTAS InVent, together with the Tas Farm Innovation Hub and the recently launched Launceston Institute, invite you to join us for an evening of inspirational stories of entrepreneurship from Northern Tasmania’s agtech innovators. This free event is open to anyone with an interest in being part of Tasmania’s thriving innovation ecosystem - community members, industry colleagues, researchers and students all welcome.

UTAS InVent (Innovation Ventures) is the research commercialisation arm of the University of Tasmania. Our highly specialised team works alongside our island-wide community of UTAS researchers, students and alumni, and the broader community of government, industry partners and investors, to bring Tasmanian innovation to the world.

Funding & AcknowledgmentS

This program received funding from the Australian Government’s Future Drought Fund.

The Australian Government is contributing $12.4 million over 4 years through the Future Drought Fund under various grants. Hub partners and the University of Tasmania will provide co-contributions of an amount at least equal to the Australian Government funding over the same period.

We acknowledge the palawa/pakana people, the traditional custodians of the land upon which we live and work. We honour their enduring culture and knowledges as vital to the self-determination, wellbeing and resilience of their communities.
