Kathy engages the research community to fill knowledge gaps relevant to the hub’s purpose. She is passionate about holistic approaches that involve farmers to shape the research and eventual solutions. Kathy led the team that secured funding to establish the hub and facilitated its early start-up phase as the inaugural Director. She also leads multi-disciplinary research to enable farmer-centric on-farm experimentation and solutions that help wine grape producers manage disease.
